### New Gate: "Flood of Monsters" (Episode 12)

Shin and Rionne learn that a massive horde of monsters is heading toward Valmer. It might be a so-called "Flood," where magical matter from a sacred land transforms into monsters. The area around the sacred land is protected by the Mist of Garuda. The only path leads to Valmer.

Shin decides to defend Valmer. He joins the adventurer's guild to inform the guild master, Baron Lakt, of the impending threat. To organize the defense, Rionne meets with the local lord. Despite Valmer's fortifications, heavy casualties are expected, requiring immediate preparations and the evacuation of the citizens.

While consulting with the guild, Shin encounters Berett, a support character from the game. Berett reveals that there are other players in this world and warns him about player killers (PKs).

Snow also arrives in Valmer. Together with Shin, she discusses the strategy and prepares for the Flood. She knows that a powerful character might be leading the monster horde. As the Flood draws nearer, Snow and Shin coordinate the defense with the Chosen Ones and the knights.

During the battle, Rionne demonstrates her combat skills with the sword Shin gifted her. Snow unleashes powerful spells to annihilate the monsters, but the Flood continues, revealing the presence of a boss—a demon leading the creatures. Shin unleashes his full power to defeat the demon and save Valmer.

After the battle, Shin and Snow confront their feelings and the secrets they kept from each other. Snow apologizes for withholding information about other players and PKs, fearing it would change Shin's behavior. They reaffirm their trust in each other and resolve to face future challenges together without secrets.

With Valmer safe, Shin is determined to learn more about the other players and the mysteries of this world as he sets off toward the next city.
