The Rising of the Shield Hero S4 - Episode 3

In Episode 3, the political situation in Siltvelt intensifies further. After the uncovered poisoning attempt, Atla confronts the assembly of leaders and accuses them of disregarding the true will of the Shield Hero and losing themselves in selfish power games. In a passionate speech, she emphasizes that Naofumi has given hope to everyone, just like in the rebuilt village of Lurolona, and that their loyalty is unreservedly to him. The situation finally escalates when Naofumi presents the pressured cook, who names Jaralis as the client of the poisoning. However, Jaralis not only denies the accusations but also questions Naofumi's legitimacy as the prophesied "Hero of Time", since he was not summoned in Siltvelt. To resolve the conflict, the influential elder Genmu proposes a traditional duel.
