"The Rising of the Shield Hero" Season 4: Teaser Visual Released

The teaser visual for the fourth season of the TV anime "The Rising of the Shield Hero" has been released.

The teaser visual features Naofumi Iwatani, Raphtalia, Filo, and the siblings Fohl and Atla Hakuko, hinting at the beginning of a new journey.

Director Hitoshi Haga commented: "We are working hard to bring the new episodes to you as soon as possible. Look forward to it!" Character designer and animation director Franziska van Wulfen added: "Naofumi's new adventure will take him and his companions to new lands, where they will encounter new friends and foes."

The teaser trailer was unveiled on stage at the "Anime Messe Babelsberg 2024" in Germany and was met with great enthusiasm by the attending fans. The event featured appearances by Franziska van Wulfen, character designer Masahiro Suwa, producer Takao Arai, and the band MADKID, which contributed the opening themes up to and including season 3. There were talk shows and live performances.

The series "The Rising of the Shield Hero" is based on the novel by Aneko Yusagi and tells the story of Naofumi Iwatani, a university student who is summoned to another world to experience adventures as the "Shield Hero." The first season aired in 2019, the second in 2022, and the third in October 2023.
