"The Saint Who was Sold to the Neighboring Country": New voices and second character trailer unveiled

The anime adaptation of the light novel Kanpeki Sugite Kawaigen ga Nai to Konyaku Haki sareta Seijo wa Rinkoku ni Urareru (Eng. The Too-Perfect Saint Who Was Dismissed from Engagement and Sold to a Neighboring Country) introduces six additional voice actors as well as a second character trailer.

New voices at a glance:

- Uchida Shu as Grace, Saint of the Kingdom of Volmern,

- Kazuyuki Okitsu as Ferdinand, older brother of the antagonist Julius,

- Miki Itō as Hildegard, Philias’ scheming aunt.

Further roles include Philias’ parents—Kentaro Ito as Georg and Sayaka Ohara as Cornelia—as well as Yuya Murakami as Pierre, bodyguard of the side character Mia. The trailer offers first glimpses into the dynamics between these characters, particularly the ambivalent relationships within the noble families.

The protagonist Philia Adenauer (voiced by Yui Ishikawa) is cast aside by her fiancé because her flawless competence as a saint is deemed "unlovable." Sold to the neighboring country of Parnacorta, she begins to form emotional connections with her new surroundings—a process accompanied by humorous and heartwarming moments.

The first key visual highlights the contrast between Philia’s cool aura and the vibrant world of Parnacorta. The series blends fantasy elements with a character study about self-worth and emotional growth.
