The second season of In/Spectre will be released on January 8th

According to the official website for the anime In/Spectre, the second season of the manga adaptation by Kyo Shirodaira and Chasiba Katase will air on Japanese television on January 8. Additionally, the portal features a new trailer that previews the song "Yotogibanashi," performed by singer KanoeRana, which serves as the anime's opening theme.



The first season of In/Spectre aired between January and March 2020 with a total of 12 episodes on Japanese television. Shirodaira began publishing this supernatural-themed shonen manga, In/Spectre, in 2015 in the pages of Kodansha's Shonen Magazine R. The series continues to be published, with 18 volumes released on the Japanese market to date.

Kotoko and Kuro have been blessed by spirits known as Yokai, who granted them unique, superhuman abilities. But every power comes at a price, and Kotoko lost an arm and a leg in exchange. Meanwhile, Kuro's personal life crumbles around him. When Kotoko suggests they team up to hunt down rogue spirits, Kuro has no reason to refuse—though at this point, he doesn't yet know that Kotoko might have an ulterior motive...
