Studio DEEN announced on Monday that it is producing a new series for the fall based on Nakaba Suzuki's The Seven Deadly Sins manga titled Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin (The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods). The anime will feature a new team (A-1 Pictures handled the previous series and film).
Suzuki stated in an interview with Kadokawa's Da Vinci magazine in August that he plans to end the manga in "about a year," after writing a story spanning roughly 40 volumes. The series is currently in the epilogue of what will likely be its final two chapters.
