The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse - anime premiering in October

At the AnimeJapan 2023, a second teaser trailer was recently released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki's sequel manga "The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse" (Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi). The anime is scheduled to premiere in October.



The event also introduced new cast members, including Kikunosuke Toya as Donny, Aino Shimada as Nasiens, Kanna Nakamura as Anghalad, and Kouki Uchiyama as Shin. Additionally, the main staff was announced: Maki Odaira is directing, Shigeru Murakoshi is overseeing and writing the scripts, Youichi Takada is the character designer, and Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto are composing the main theme. Telecom Animation Film is handling the animation, while UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is in charge of production and planning.

The story follows Percival, a young boy who has lived with his grandfather on God's Finger, a remote sanctuary high above the clouds. Percival dreams of adventure, but his life takes a dramatic turn when an intruder with a shocking connection to him destroys everything he has ever known. Determined to reclaim what was lost, Percival embarks on a journey where he discovers the world beyond his sanctuary and learns about his fate, which is tied to the end of the world.

Fans of "The Seven Deadly Sins" series can look forward to the new anime adaptation, which promises to continue the gripping story of the original manga series.
