The well-known anime film The Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale has earned around 12.03 million USD, and also sold around 1,012,331 tickets in Japan. Till the ending of the third weekend, the anime film has earned around 425 million yen, and it’s ranked at the 3rd number.

The film will screen by using MX4d technology and immersive 4DX from 10th March and it will release in 66 theatres nationwide. The movie is based on a 100-page novella which is written by Reki Kawahara. ABEC has designed the cover of the novella. The novella was released on 4 March.

The film was released on 18 February in Japan, and on its opening day, it sold around 308,376 tickets which are worth around 3.76 Million USD. The film has become the first anime movie to be at the 1st position in both weekends. The film also has made the opening weekend record, and it is distributed by Aniplex.

The website, The Eiga.com, has revelled that the movie could cross 22 Million Dolor earnings.
