The official social media channel for the anime adaptation of "The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash" recently unveiled new footage and announced the premiere date for January 12.
Aina Suzuki will voice the protagonist Ivy, while Mutsumi Tamura will play the character Sora, a slime. Both actors were previously involved in the series through a drama CD.

The series is directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi, with Naoki Horiuchi taking on the role of chief director. The series composition is overseen by Katsuhiko Takayama, and the characters are brought to life through designs by Feng Cheng Hu and Yuki Ikeda. Kujira Yumemi will handle the music, while Lantis oversees music production.
The story follows Ivy, who is reborn in an RPG-inspired world as a "No-Star Tamer," the lowest rank. Shunned by her family, Ivy relies on her survival skills. Everything changes when she befriends Sora, a low-ranked slime creature. The story follows her journey as she discovers her unique strengths and the value of friendship.
