In this episode, Guideau and Ashaf receive a black letter hinting at a witch incident, sending them on a mission to capture a witch responsible for a series of murders before the Paladin Corps can reach her. The Corps, portrayed as a magical army with a hidden dark side, is also searching for the witch.

Upon arriving in a city, Ashaf and Guideau manage to infiltrate a restricted area through deception. Meanwhile, Cugat, the commander of the Paladin Corps, orders the witch to be hunted down with the help of an envoy from the church after a confrontation with her.

The witch, distinguished by her red hair and a striking mark under her right eye, demonstrates her ability to summon swords and effortlessly defeats three astral projections sent by the Paladins. During a confrontation with Guideau, she displays remarkable combat skills but is ultimately sealed by Ashaf using a compression spell inside a magical orb.

Ashaf reveals the witch’s identity as Helga Velvette, a descendant of an Original, and her immense—though latent—power to destroy the world. Although Helga breaks free from the seal and wields the demonic sword, Ashaf persuades her by asserting her innocence in the murders and expressing a desire to protect her.

The episode culminates in an attack by the Paladin Corps, forcing Helga into a direct confrontation with Cugat. Guideau intervenes, promising Cugat a final end.
