The world of otome games is tough for mobs starts in April 2022

Kadokawa has today opened the official website for the anime adaptation of Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) and revealed the main cast, staff, and a first promotional video. The series is scheduled to air in April 2022.



The world of otome games is harsh for mobs like Leon, who has been reincarnated into this world. However, he has one advantage: he remembers everything from his past life, including the walkthrough of the game he is now trapped in.

The novel has been published in nine volumes by GC Novels, and a manga adaptation by Ushiozato Jun has been released in six volumes. The anime is directed by Kazuya Miura and Shinichi Fukumoto, with series composition by Kenta Inohara, character designs by Masahiko Suzuki, and animation production by ENGI. Tsuyoshi Otsuka voices Leon, Kana Ichinose plays Olivia, a commoner who was the protagonist in the game, and Ai Fairouz plays Angelica Rafa Redgrave, the prince’s fiancée who served as the game’s villainess.
