With the announcement, fans' anticipation for the anime adaptation of Kurokata's work has grown. The light novel's illustrator, KeG, celebrated this milestone with a commemorative illustration that perfectly captures the essence of the series.

At the helm of this adaptation is director Takahide Ogata, while Studio Add and Shinei Animation are tasked with bringing the story to life. Shogo Yasukawa is in charge of the series' scripts, while Yōko Tanabe lends her talent to the character design, forming a creative team that aims to capture the spirit of the original series.

The series revolves around Usato, an ordinary high school student who, along with Suzune and Kazuki, is mysteriously transported to another world. Although initially summoned as a hero, it quickly becomes clear that Usato's true strength lies in his rare knowledge of healing magic, earning him a place in a life-saving corps led by a woman named Rose.

The series, which originally debuted as a light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in March 2014, has grown in popularity and now spans 12 printed volumes (as of March 2020).
