Green light has been given for a third season of the anime adaptation of the series "Dandadan" (Japanese original title: ダンダダン). This was announced through the release of a new key visual showing the characters Momo, Okarun, and Turbo-Granny.

The plot of "Dandadan" follows high school student Momo Ayase, who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Ken Takakura, an enthusiastic believer in paranormal phenomena. Together, they get involved in supernatural adventures that combine elements from the mystery, action, and romantic comedy genres.

The source material for the series comes from the pen of Yukinobu Tatsu and is published in the magazine Shonen Jump+. The first anime season aired between October and December 2024, followed by a second broadcast phase from July to September of this year.

Further details about the third production phase are to be announced at a later date.
