After today's airing of the 21st and final episode of the second season of Mairimashita! Iruma-kun (Welcome to the Demon School! Iruma-kun), a third anime season has been announced.

While details about the new season are not yet known, the preview of the latest TV episode revealed that the anime will follow the well-known plot of the Harvest and Music Festival.

The first season aired in 23 episodes in the fall of 2019, followed by the second season, which premiered on April 17 and now comprises 21 episodes.

The author of the manga, Osamu Nishi, also commented on the announcement of the third season:

Season 3 of Iruma-kun is coming! I'm so happy! The first was colorful and fun, the second was weird and hot, so I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of world the third brings us! I'll be screaming in front of the TV again!
