The anime Tis Time for "Torture," based on the original work by Haruhara Robinson and Hirakei, has revealed its key visual, a first promotional video, and additional cast information. The story revolves around the interaction between a captive princess, who also serves as the captain of the royal army's third knight division, and the torturer of the demon army in this "torture fantasy" tale. The princess is subjected to various "tortures" such as delicious meals and entertaining games, while the torturer attempts to extract the kingdom's secrets from her. The key visual captures the quirky characters of this bizarre world, including the bewildered princess, the sentient holy sword Ex, and the torturer Torchure, the highest-ranking torturer of the demon army.

Tetsuaki Genda lends his voice to the Demon King, who, despite his imposing and fearsome appearance, is a loving father to his daughter Maomao. Alongside Genda, the voice cast includes Haruka Shiraishi as the Princess, Kimihiro Kobayashi as Ex, and Shizuka Ito as the torturer Torchure. The first promotional video features these characters' voices for the first time.

Haruka Shiraishi, who voices the Princess, commented that the anime is full of comedy and shameless indulgence.
