The expedition under Professor Luo Tong enters the alien wreck to research material that can suppress Fear. Little Johnny and Big Johnny are haunted by hallucinations reliving Sheng's death, caused by DJ Shindig's Fear-infested powers, which trigger depression. Luo Tong reveals that the Spotlight Organization wants to use Fear as a superior weapon against Trust, while the Commission seeks to control it.

During the mission, Ghostblade receives the order from Rock to eliminate Little Johnny, as he is considered a remnant of Sheng's unfinished mission. Rock harbors distrust towards Ghostblade and simultaneously sends E-Soul to eliminate both and get rid of a tournament rival. Inside the ship, Little Johnny and Ghostblade discover biocapsules indicating alien life, before E-Soul attacks them.

Parallel to this, Luo Tong and Wang Nuonuo are confronted by Nice, who is under orders to kill the research team. Loli intervenes to protect her friends, leading to a fight. The episode ends with these two simultaneous confrontations, which place the expedition in serious danger .
