The episode begins with a meeting between the hero Nice and Shand, the CEO of the Treeman Agency. Shand informs Nice that his "perfect hero persona" is an illusion created with Fear power, and fires him. Nice then decides to eliminate Professor Luo Tong's research team to prevent the Commission's suppression of Fear.

Inside the alien wreckage, Nice attacks Luo Tong and Wang Nuonuo, but is stopped by Loli in her combat suit. During their fight, Luo Tong and Nuonuo discover that other team members have been killed by masked figures created by Shand from fear particles. Simultaneously, Mickey reveals details about Rock's plan: Rock's father created Zero, the first hero, who accidentally killed another hero, thereby spreading fear throughout the world. Rock wants to bring Zero back to life.

Elsewhere in the wreckage, E-Soul defeats Ghostblade and attacks Little Johnny and Big Johnny. Big Johnny transforms into a berserker upon seeing Little Johnny injured. Loli witnesses the death of her father Luo Tong at the hands of the masked figures, sending her into a furious rage and leading to a brutal retaliation.

Queen and Lucky Cyan intervene, calm Big Johnny, and rescue the injured. As a result, Nice is falsely portrayed as the hero who defeated the "dark forces," while Loli officially becomes a heroine and Ghostblade leaves Mighty Glory. The Commission suspends the 20th Hero Ranking Tournament, allowing Hero X to retain his title. The episode ends with the debut of Dragon Boy, Rock's new secret weapon.
