The episode tells the story of the dog Ahu, who once lived as a circus dog and ends up in an animal shelter after a biting incident. There, he is adopted by the brave girl Xin Ya, who takes care of the older residents of her neighborhood. They are being pressured by the Treeman Corporation to sell their properties.

To protect her neighbors, Xin Ya tries to build up Ahu as a "hero". Initially reluctant, Ahu is eventually provoked by the aggression of the Treeman Corporation's gangsters and intervenes, making him the local hero. However, when the residents are deceived by a trick and sign their property deeds, Xin Ya and Ahu break into the Corporation's hideout to retrieve the contracts.

They are discovered and must flee. Xin Ya sacrifices herself to let Ahu escape with the contracts, but is cornered by the Corporation's henchmen and seriously injured. In this emergency, Ahu turns back to protect her. In the ensuing fight, he finally accepts Xin Ya's belief in him and, through the increasing trust value, becomes a true hero who defeats the threat.

As a result of his courage and his newly gained public reputation, Ahu rises in the hero rankings and reaches 8th place. In addition, the high trust value grants him the ability to speak. The hero Nice, who was indirectly involved in the incident, meanwhile suffers a nervous breakdown when his failure and insignificance are shown to him by his manipulator Shand.
