After his rise in the hero rankings, Lin Ling (as Nice) receives a mission from Miss J to outdo the top-10 hero Firm Man by defeating his nemesis Wolf Girl. Firm Man, once a firefighter, became an invincible symbol hero after rescuing a girl in a massive fire, but his image has become a shackle—physically unable to bend down and emotionally trapped in the expectation of remaining "eternally steadfast." Wolf Girl turns out to be the very girl he once saved, who gifted him his iconic red scarf. After her testimonies of his human side (weakness, humor) were publicly denounced as lies, she now rebels against the hero monument that embodies his distorted image. In a dramatic confrontation on Hero Avenue, Wolf Girl forces Firm Man to choose between saving a child and preserving the monument. Nice sees through her intent: she does not aim to destroy Firm Man but the false hero image that buried his true identity. Firm Man chooses to shed his image, leaves the top 10, and finally gains freedom, while Nice ascends to the top 10 through a media-savvy rescue (holding up the monument). Meanwhile, God Eye (formerly Enlighter) publicly reveals that Moon has survived and announces his intent to expose Nice's deception—a dangerous attack on his trustworthiness. The episode ends with the hint of an impending crisis as God Eye begins to unravel Nice's fabricated identity piece by piece.
