To Your Eternity Season 2 releases third trailer ahead of its October 23 premiere

The website for the anime To Your Eternity has released a new trailer. The video showcases several scenes featuring Hisame, Kahaku, and Bonchien Nicoli the Tasty Peach Uralis, the new characters of the series, while "Pink Blood," the anime's theme song performed by Hikaru Utada, plays in the background. The new episodes of the manga adaptation created by Yoshitoki Ōima will premiere in Japan on October 23.



For this second season, Studio Drive is responsible for production instead of Brain's Base.

Yoshitoki Ōima, the author of A Silent Voice, has been serializing To Your Eternity, Fumetsu no Anata e in Japanese in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since November 2016, and it now spans 18 volumes.

Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga in English and describes the story as follows:

A new manga from the creator of the acclaimed A Silent Voice, delivering an intimate, emotional drama and an epic story that spans time and space...

A lonely boy wandering through the Arctic regions of North America encounters a wolf, and the two quickly become friends, relying on each other to survive in the harsh environment.
