The TV adaptation of Togen Anki, based on the manga by Yurai Urushibara, will premiere in July. New details have been revealed, including additional voice actors, staff, the first key visual, and an introductory trailer.

This "new generation of the dark hero saga" reinterprets the legend of Momotaro and depicts the fierce battle between those who carry the blood of demons and those who bear the blood of Momotaro.

New characters from the Demon Academy, which protagonist Shiki Ichinose attends, have been unveiled. The cast includes:

- Manaka Iwami as Hokki Byobugaura

- Shogo Sakata as Ikari Yaoroshi

- Natsuki Hanae as Juji Yusuribe

- Kai Miura as Rokuro Shujutsu

- Aimi as Kiji Sazanami

The series is directed by Ato Nonaka, with support from Hiroyuki Hashimoto. Yukie Sugawara handles series composition and scriptwriting, while KOHTA YAMAMOTO composes the music. Animation is produced by Studio Hibari.

The first key visual shows Shiki activating his demonic ability "Blood Erosion Release," alongside his classmate Jin Kogosaki and instructor Mujin Mudano from the Rasetsu Academy. The image contrasts the glowing red of demon blood with a blue-green night sky illuminated by a full moon.

The trailer introduces five characters whose voices are heard for the first time, further heightening anticipation for the series.

The series has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion since 2020 and has over three million copies in circulation. In June 2023, the "Togen Anki Project" was launched, starting with a stage play in 2024. The anime adaptation, announced in May 2024, marks the second major step in this project. Urawa Ki voices the protagonist Shiki Ichinose.
