"Tohai: Ura Rate Mahjong Torihai Roku" Releases Second Trailer and Announces Theme Song Artists

For the TV anime "Tohai: Ura Rate Mahjong Torihai Roku," based on the original work by Takatoshi Shinasaka, the second trailer and the artists for the theme songs have been announced.

The new promotional video showcases the main characters Kei, Amina, and Dojima, as well as Takazu Noriyuki, the leader of the Takazu Group, and Kei's childhood friend Yuu Katsuragi. The voice actors for the characters have also been revealed. The opening song will be performed by Masayoshi Oishi, while the ending song will be sung by the idol group Taiyo to Odore Tsukiyo ni Utae. Masayoshi Oishi stated: "I tried to capture the thrilling and tense atmosphere of the gambling scenes with the protagonist Kei in the theme song!" Yukian Yuuki from Taiyo to Odore Tsukiyo ni Utae said: "I sang with a lot of emotion to ensure the essence of the mahjong world seamlessly transitions into the next episode, and I hope you'll enjoy it."

"Tohai: Ura Rate Mahjong Torihai Roku," which will air in October, tells the story of Kei, a high school mahjong player known as "Ice Kei," who shakes up the high-stakes underground mahjong parlors. The cast includes Kousuke Tanabe as Kei, Ai Fairouz as Amina, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Dojima, Takashi Koyama as Takazu Noriyuki, and Chinatsu Akasaki as Yuu Katsuragi.
