Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc will air in October with new cast members

The upcoming series "Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc" has been announced for October. Alongside this announcement, the first promotional video for the new season was released, and the new cast members were introduced.



The new season will feature new cast members such as Seiichirō Yamashita as Kakucho, the leader of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku, Kouki Uchiyama as Shion Madarame, another one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku, Daisuke Namikawa as Ran Haitani, also one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku, and Hiro Shimono as Rindo Haitani, Ran's younger brother. These characters will bring new dynamics and storylines to the series.

These announcements follow earlier casting news, which included Nobunaga Shimazaki as Izana Kurokawa and Tetsu Inada as Kanji Mochizuki. Izana is the leader of the Tenjiku team based in Yokohama, while Kanji holds a position among the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku.

The series "Tokyo Revengers" originated from a manga by Ken Wakui, which was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from March 2017 to November 16. The magazine is currently publishing a spin-off manga, "Tokyo Revengers Extra," which focuses on the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang.

The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who discovers that his middle school girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, was killed by a gang called the Tokyo Manji Gang. After this tragic news, Takemichi mysteriously jumps back twelve years in time and seizes the opportunity to change his past and save Hinata. His new goal is to climb the ranks of Kanto's most notorious criminal gang.
