"Hamburg, July 2006 – From July 28th to 30th, 2006, one of the most important events for manga and anime fans in Europe will take place at the Bonn Beethovenhalle: AnimagiC.

For the seventh time, fans of Japanese pop culture will come together to exchange ideas about the latest manga and anime trends, compete in the obligatory cosplay, listen to concerts by Japanese bands, and learn more about other aspects of Japanese culture.

This year, TOKYOPOP will be represented as an exhibitor at this convention for the first time and will be available to answer all fans' questions about its manga and anime program. Guest appearances at the TOKYOPOP booth will include Olga Rogalski, whose first book project “Triple Witching Hour” will be released by TOKYOPOP in December, and the artist duo Pink Psycho (“In the End” – coming to TOKYOPOP’s program in October), who will sign early reading samples of their works for visitors.

In addition, Olga Rogalski will also sign at the booth of graphics tablet manufacturer Wacom and hold a workshop. The illustrator will demonstrate the advantages of working with a graphics tablet for freehand drawing and coloring using her own work on the AnimagiC stage. The workshop marks the start of the six-part drawing school “Digital Manga Made Easy,” offered by AnimaniA magazine, Wacom, and TOKYOPOP. The drawing school will soon be published regularly in the editorial section of AnimaniA as well as featured on the magazine’s DVD."
