Tokyopop announced a manga in today's newsletter for their summer program. David Füleki, known for his story Die höchst fragwürdige Resozialisierung des Wilbert Plumduff oder die Rückkehr der Robo-Affen in Manga Fieber 2, will release Struwwelpeter: Die Rückkehr in June 2009.

In this manga, the characters will seem familiar to you. There will be a reunion with Struwwelpeter, Pauline, Zappel-Phillip, the wicked Friederich, and many more.

However, David is not content with simply presenting a manga adaptation of Heinrich Hoffmann's classic children's book but instead interprets the work in his own way. The result is a completely new, fast-paced narrative.

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait a while longer before you can read the whole story. Struwwelpeter: Die Rückkehr is scheduled for June 2009, just in time for the 200th birthday of Struwwelpeter's creator, Heinrich Hoffmann.

Additionally, there will be another surprise from David Füleki.
