[Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi] - Second season announced

To continue the anime adaptation of „Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi“, initial visual impressions as well as a teaser trailer have been released. Additionally, it was announced that voice actor Ayumu Murase will take on the role of Dra-chan, a small dragon creature.

The story follows Mukoda, a former office worker who is transported to a fantasy world and experiences culinary adventures with the help of his unique ability „Online Supermarket“. The second season continues this journey, with the newly revealed teaser motif showing Mukoda with a lavish gyudon dish (beef bowl) – accompanied by the slogan „The delicious journey continues!“.

Murase, who voices the pixie dragon Dra-chan lured by Mukoda’s cooking skills, humorously commented on the series: „Even while reading the source material and watching the first season, I was constantly hungry – the atmosphere feels so authentic that you can practically smell the aromas. During recordings, I have to restrain myself from listening to the dialogues like a gourmet.“

The teaser trailer also offers glimpses into Dra-chan’s playful dynamic with Mukoda, voiced by Yūma Uchida. The continuation is once again produced by Studio MAPPA, which carries forward the blend of imaginative worlds, humorous dialogues, and detailed food scenes.

The series combines isekai elements with culinary fascination, with Mukoda’s creative use of his abilities always at the forefront. Further updates on the season are expected in the coming weeks.
