In the fifth episode of Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 titled "The Exciting Expert of the Hot Springs," our lovebirds Tsukasa and Nasa embark on a second honeymoon thanks to the hot spring tickets won by Kaname and Aya’s absent mother. As expected, the couple experiences the usual awkward moments while looking forward to spending time alone in the hot springs.

Chitose makes a brief appearance, but fortunately, Kaname asks her to help clean the bathhouse, allowing the newlyweds to enjoy their time together undisturbed. The episode takes a strange turn with a battle between teenage girls in swimsuits, which adds little to the story.

Back at the hot spring, Nasa struggles to relax and begins desperately searching for the perfect vacation plan for Tsukasa. Tsukasa, too, battles her excitement and self-confidence, cutting her time in the hot spring short to cool down.

Their honeymoon takes an unexpected turn when Nasa encounters a seemingly confused elderly woman. Though she initially appears helpless, she turns out to be Tsukasa and Chitose’s sharp-witted grandmother. She invites the couple to her room for a conversation, where we learn more about Tsukasa’s character. Her grandmother describes her as an "Ice Queen" who marches to the beat of her own drum and emphasizes the importance of expressing love through words.
