"TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You High School Days": A new spin-off of the anime franchise

Warner Bros. Discovery Japan has announced a new spin-off titled "TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You High School Days," which expands the universe of the popular series "TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You." This four-episode anime promises an interesting side story and is set to premiere on July 12.



This new anime adaptation places the protagonist of the series, Nasa, in an unusual environment, as he is tasked by his junior high school teacher to lead a class at an all-girls school. While Nasa navigates this unfamiliar territory, he becomes an advisor to the students who seek his guidance on their love problems. Meanwhile, Tsukasa, known for her cool demeanor, struggles with her own nervousness, knowing that Nasa is constantly surrounded by young high school girls.

The cast of this new interpretation includes Ayane Sakura, Rika Nagae, Coco Hayashi, Hina Yomiya, Ayane Matsuda, Hitomi Ueda, and Kaori Maeda. The opening song "Plan" is performed by voice actress Saori Hayami, while the title song "Guru Guru Live" is sung by Akari Kitō, who plays the role of Tsukasa Yuzaki in the series.
