For the anime production "Torture Part-Time Worker's Daily Life", the central promotional image, a video, and additional contributors were announced.
The main visual, designed by character designer Shibuya Shu, depicts the part-time employees of the torture company Spiritus: Cero, Shiu, Mike, and Hugh. The characters Hera and Noe are also shown.
A newly released promotional video includes, among other things, scenes featuring Cero. A campaign is being conducted via the series' official X account where posters of the main visual signed by the voice actors will be raffled.
The voice cast has been expanded. Kishow Tanyama plays Hera, the CEO of Spiritus, who appears in women's clothing. The character was active as a torture specialist together with Shiu before the company was founded. The role of Noe, an employee who was taken in by Hera at a young age and now supports the company through office work, will be played by Rikuya Yasada. Taniyama commented that he wants to earnestly portray the profound and multifaceted appeal of the character. Yasada described Noe as one of the people who suffers the most in the series.
It was also confirmed that the band GRANRODEO, with singer Taniyama, will contribute the opening theme "GO GO PARADISE!!". The ending theme "Ashita Tenki ni Nāre" will be performed by Takuma Terashima, the voice actor for the role of Shiu.
The plot of "Torture Part-Time Worker's Daily Life" is set in a world where murder and torture have been legalized. The series darkly yet comically depicts the work routines of four part-time workers at the company Spiritus, which exclusively tortures criminals.
