The continuation of the TV anime series "Tougen Anki" is titled the "Nikko Kegon Waterfall Arc" and will begin airing on Japanese television from October. As announced at "AnimeJapan 2026," the new story arc will run in the "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" programming block on Nippon TV. Additionally, two more voice actors have been confirmed: Nobuhiko Okamoto will play the part-time teacher Hagure Nekosaki, and Kento Ito will voice his colleague Yu Innami.

The two new characters are lecturers at the Rasetsu Academy. At the request of Naito Mudano, they participate in a new training program for the students. Nekosaki appears polite, but his true nature remains hidden at first. Innami, on the other hand, frequently coughs up blood but always shows himself to be positive and passionate.

The original work by Yura Urushibara is published in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) and tells a dark hero story based on the Japanese folktale "Momotaro": It centers on the conflict between the descendants of demons (Oni) and the descendants of the peach boy (Momotaro). The first season of the series began in July 2025 with the "Kyoto Arc," followed by the "Nerima Arc" from October 2025.

In addition to the two new voice actors, the cast includes Kazuki Ura as Shiki Ichinose, Hiroshi Kamiya as Naito Mudano, and Kotaro Nishiyama as Jin Kougasaki. The series is directed by Ato Nonaka, with series composition by Yukie Sugawara. The animation is produced by Studio Hibari.
