The anime adaptation of the novel series "Toumei Otoko to Ningen Onna: Sonouchi Fuufu ni Naru Futari" (English: "The Transparent Man and the Human Woman") will be released in January 2026. A first trailer as well as details on further voice actors and the series' musical themes were announced for this.

The center of the plot is the unusual couple Toumeigan Akira, a transparent detective, and Yoka Shizuka, a blind human woman who works in his office. The first look at the series promises a mix of hearty comedy and touching romance between the two main characters.

The extended cast includes Sugiyama Riho as Rushiko Luna, an animalistically wild investigative journalist, and Fukunishi Katsuya as Onikira Daichi, a pedantic but caring human employee. Both characters enrich the detective's office environment.

Providing the musical framework are Abe Mao with the opening "Ding-dong" and Ishihara Kaori with the ending "Hoshimegane" (approximately: star glasses). Both titles are heard for the first time in the released trailer.
