Tower of God S2 - Episode 22

The semifinal round of the team tournament begins, and Wangnan is determined to rescue and bring back Viole (Bam). Rak, Wangnan, Yihwa, and Quaetro face off against their opponents, Masha and Paul. During the battle, Rak returns to his original size, significantly increasing his strength. Yihwa’s flames are initially ineffective against Paul, who can consume fire. However, Rak devises a plan: he urges Yihwa to unleash her flames at full power, overwhelms Paul, and leads the team to victory.

Meanwhile, Beta, an ally of FUG, enters the competition by serving as a host for Medina, risking his own identity in the process. He opposes Rak and Yihwa and seeks out Viole's friends to exact revenge. Beta reveals his intention to make Viole experience the same despair he himself has endured.

Viole, trapped underground, decides he cannot wait passively and takes action to help his friends. Hwaryun appears and reveals that everything has been orchestrated so that he can obtain Enryu’s Thorn, a powerful weapon. She explains that Viole is the vessel destined to strengthen the Thorn. With Hwaryun’s help, Viole manages to escape his captivity, the Thorn in hand.

As Viole and Novick attempt to reunite with their friends, they are pursued by Mad Dog and his shadow wolves. Hwaryun advises them to focus on fleeing, emphasizing the danger posed by their pursuers.

Wangnan and Khun plan to summon Viole using the Item Summoning Station, exploiting his unique status as both a human and an item due to the Thorn. They act in secret to avoid detection. Wangnan reaches the summoning station and begins the process. Viole successfully appears and reunites with Wangnan and Khun. They are relieved and prepare for the challenges ahead.

However, Beta attacks the summoning station to prevent Viole from escaping and to sow further despair. The episode ends with a tense confrontation, setting the stage for the next phase of their battle.
