Trailer for chapter 2 of the Princess Principal: Crown Handler film announces release date

Part 2 of the six-part anime film series Princess Principal: Crown Handler will premiere on September 23, 2021, as revealed in a 60-second trailer. Additionally, new characters and a new key visual have been unveiled.



The new characters include:

Edward: The prince who stands first in line to the throne of Albion. As the first prince, he has a strong sense of responsibility and is an elite who works daily for the kingdom.

Maria: The princess who stands second in line to the throne of Albion. Although she is a young girl, she works hard at her daily official duties and studies to fulfill her royal obligations.

Richard: The prince who stands third in line to the throne of Albion. He was formerly the governor of the new continent but has returned to the kingdom after a five-year absence. He has a cheerful and extravagant personality.

Sentai Filmworks has licensed the entire six-part film series and describes the story of the first film as follows:

After the attempted assassination of the queen, the kingdom continues to hunt down spies. In response, Control—the covert operations group of the Commonwealth—begins to suspect a double agent within the royal family of the kingdom. To uncover the truth, Control dispatches the spy ring "Team White Pigeon." But danger lurks around every corner, and with no way of knowing who to trust, it has never been more dangerous for Ange and the rest of Team White Pigeon to be spies.
