Tōsōchū: The Great Mission Anime presents promo video, cast and theme song

On Monday, the promotional video for the anime adaptation of Fuji TV's game show Run for the Money Tōsōchū, titled Tōsōchū: The Great Mission, was released on the series' official website. The video offers a preview of the opening song "Runaway World" by fhána, as well as a new illustration by original character designer Takeshi Okano.



The series will premiere on April 2 with a star-studded cast including Showtaro Morikubo, Yumiko Kobayashi, Marina Inoue, Ryotaro Okiayu, Yu Shimamura, and Daisuke Namikawa. Yukio Kaizawa and Kōhei Kureta are directing at Toei Animation, with character designs by Yōichi Ōnishi based on original artwork by Takeshi Okano. Kotaro Nakagawa is handling music composition, while Ayaka Kami and Kentaro Akiyama serve as art directors. Other notable contributors include Kenji Fukuda for art design and Shōhei Tamura for 3D background art.

The boy group AB6IX will perform the theme song "Fly Away." The anime is set in a future where humanity has relocated from Earth to the Moon due to climate change. It features a unique blend of elements, including survival-themed human drama across various settings such as Shibuya, Edo-era Japan, and London.
