TV anime adaptation of Key's "Summer Pockets" announced

The romantic adventure game "Summer Pockets" by renowned developer Key, known for titles such as "CLANNAD" and "Angel Beats!," will be adapted into a TV anime series in 2025.

Originally released in 2018, "Summer Pockets" tells the story of Hairi Takahara, who travels to Torishirojima during his summer vacation to sort out his grandmother's belongings. The plot, written by Jun Maeda, revolves around his encounters with the island's inhabitants. In 2020, an expanded version titled "Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE" was released, introducing additional heroines and scenarios.

The anime adaptation is being produced by Studio feel., known for works such as "Tsuki ga Kirei," "ISLAND," and "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax." Tomoki Kobayashi is directing, Keiichirou Oochi is handling series composition, and Mai Ootsuka is in charge of character design. The main cast from the game will reprise their roles, including Shoya Chiba as Hairi Takahara, Konomi Kohara as Shiroha Naruse, Natsumi Takamori as Ao Sorakado, and Emiri Iwai as Tsumugi Wenders. Nene Hieda will take on the role of Kamome Kushima, replacing Tomomi Mineuchi, who retired in 2022.
