TV anime “Sora-Iro Utility” releases second round of casting and first promo clip & key visual

On May 28th, Golf Day, the second round of cast information was released alongside the first promotional video and key visual for the TV anime "Sora-Iro Utility."

Sora-Iro Utility tells the story of Minami Aoba, a high school girl with no particular strengths or ambitions, who discovers golf and embarks on a journey to find her own unique passion. In this coming-of-age sports comedy, she is accompanied by Haruka Akane, a golf prodigy, and Ayaka Hoshi, an up-and-coming influencer.

Yumiri Hanamori voices Izumi Akina, Minami's classmate, alongside three regulars at the golf course: Kazuhiko Inoue as Masao Tadokoro (Masa), Kenyu Horiuchi as Chosuke Tanabe (Cho), and Toshiyuki Morikawa as Tetsu Tanaka (Tetsu).

The first trailer showcases Minami's encounters with Haruka and Ayaka, who are brought together by their shared interest in golf. It also highlights the interactions between Minami and older golfers as she strives to become the "main character" of her own story. The first key visual depicts Minami swinging a club on the practice range, watched by Haruka and Ayaka.

Sky Blue Utility is set to air in 2025. The anime is directed and designed by Kengo Saito and produced by Yostar Pictures.
