The popular manga "Witch Watch" by Kenta Shinohara will be adapted into a TV anime and is set to air in April 2025. Alongside this exciting announcement, the cast, crew, teaser image, and teaser video have also been revealed.

"Witch Watch," a series from Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), is a "magical comedy" that tells the story of Niko Wakatsuki, a clumsy witch-in-training, and her childhood friend Morihito Otogi, a high schooler with ogre-like strength. The story begins when Morihito moves in with Niko to become her familiar and protect her. The manga has so far compiled 17 volumes, with the 18th volume set to release on September 4.

Rina Kawaguchi will voice Niko, while Ryota Suzuki will portray Morihito. Additional cast members include Kohei Amasaki as Kanshi Kazamatsuri, a tengu who sees Morihito as an enemy due to conflicts between their species, Kaito Ishikawa as Keigo Magami, who befriends Morihito because he sees a resemblance to himself, and Tomori Kusunoki as Otoha Miyao, a witch from a prestigious family who tries to win Morihito over as her familiar. Hiroshi Ikehata is directing, Masao Kawase is the assistant director, Deko Akao is handling series composition, and Haruko Iizuka is in charge of character design. The animation is produced by Bibury Animation Studios.

The teaser image features Niko at the center, surrounded by smaller versions of Morihito, Kanshi, Keigo, and Otoha, who appear to have been shrunk by Niko's magic. The teaser video starts with Morihito relaxing in his living room, only to witness Niko dramatically crashing through the window, setting the stage for the chaotic and magical adventures that await him.
