TV anime "Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku" is scheduled to be released in January 2025, new cast and images revealed

The TV anime "Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku," based on the original work by Ayano Takeda and illustrated by Musshu, is set to premiere in January 2025. Alongside this announcement, a new promotional video, key visual, and additional cast members were revealed.

The story of "Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku," serialized in Ultra Jump (Shueisha), follows Kana Haruyama, a young girl living on the small island of Tonarijima with only 600 inhabitants. Kana joins her school's radio club and, together with her friends, deepens her passion for recitation. The series was written by Ayano Takeda, who is acclaimed for her work on "Sound! Euphonium."

The first key visual depicts the club members practicing after school, offering a glimpse into their daily lives. The newly revealed characters are also featured in the illustration. The promotional video showcases animated scenes where Kana meets Mizuki through her love of recitation and navigates a new environment, accompanied by music composed by Masaru Yokoyama.

The anime is set in a high school broadcasting club and focuses on the unique charm and drama of the students' journey into the art of recitation and storytelling, promising a captivating tale filled with personal growth and discoveries.
