The action manga "Ninja to Gokudō" (Eng. "Ninja and Yakuza") by Shinsuke Kondo is getting an anime adaptation. To mark the announcement, the author released an exclusive artwork showing the protagonists in a dynamic pose—a preview of the series' visual energy.
At its core are two antiheroes:
- Tanaka Shinoha: A young ninja who fights evil by his own rules.
- Kiwamura Kiyomichi: A seemingly upright businessman who pulls the strings of the underworld behind the scenes.
Their fates intertwine when Shinoha finds a lost item belonging to the yakuza boss—the beginning of a turbulent duo that redefines the line between justice and crime.
The original work has been serialized on Comic Days since 2021 and currently spans 14 volumes. In celebration of the anime's launch, all chapters (except the newest ones) are available for free on the platform—an ideal opportunity to explore the darkly humorous world.
Kondo expressed his excitement: "The anime team is eager to push the boundaries of what's possible—look forward to an adaptation that holds nothing back!"
