TV anime "Nyight of the Living Cat"-cat horror with star cast starts in July

An unusual horror adventure awaits anime fans: "Nyight of the Living Cat" (original title: "Nyaito obu za Ribingu Kyatto"), based on the work of Hawkman Mekarūts, will launch in July 2024 with a mix of horror and feline charm. The second teaser trailer and details about the outstanding cast have now been released.

In a world ravaged by the "Nyan-demic"—a virus that turns humans into cats—survivors fight to retain their humanity. The series combines dark survival elements with absurd humor as the protagonists battle against a metamorphosed society and their own fears.

- Kunagi (Voiced by: Masaaki Mizunaka): A mysterious amnesiac who finds shelter in a cat café.

- Kaoru (Voiced by: Reina Ueda): A student working at her brother’s café while resisting the transformation.
