TV anime SANDA: Second teaser visual and main cast revealed

On December 25, Christmas Day, the second teaser visual for the anime adaptation of Paru Itagaki's SANDA was released. At the same time, the main cast was announced: Ayumu Murase will play the role of the protagonist Kazue Sanda, while Hiroki Touchi voices Santa Claus. The series will air in fall 2025.

The also-released teaser video showcases dynamic animations by Science SARU and explosive "Santa Claus hero action" set to the Christmas classic Silent Night.

SANDA is set in a near-future Japan suffering from an extreme birthrate crisis, where children are excessively protected. The series explores profound themes about childhood, adulthood, and societal norms. The original work was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) and spans 16 manga volumes.
