TV anime "Shūmatsu Touring"-post-apocalyptic trip of two girls announced

The celebrated manga "Shūmatsu Touring" (English: "Doomsday Touring") by Saitō Ei is receiving an anime adaptation set to release in 2025. A teaser trailer, key visual, and main cast have now been officially revealed.

In a deserted, post-apocalyptic world, teenagers Yōko and Airi travel through the remnants of civilization on their all-terrain motorcycle, Cero. The series blends melancholic silence with moments of unexpected beauty as the protagonists search for traces of life—or meaning in the emptiness.

- Yōko (Voice: Kō Inagaki): A pragmatic survivor who leads the journey.

- Airi (Voice: Miyu Tomita): A dreamy companion who finds hope in small details.

The manga has been serialized in Dengeki Maoh magazine (KADOKAWA) since 2022 and will continue with its 7th volume on March 27, 2024.
