The cast for the Ushio arc of the TV anime "The Fable," based on the manga by Katsuhisa Minami, has been announced. Along with this news, a key visual for the new chapter, the third promotional video, and information about the theme songs for the second part were released.

"The Fable," which began in April, follows a protagonist who is highly respected in the community during the day but is secretly a ruthless manipulator who exploits vulnerable youths to extort money from their parents. Ushio is the main antagonist of this arc. Masaru Fujima will play Rei Ushio. Chika Anzai portrays Hinako Sawa, a secretary and investigator who leads a doll-like existence due to past trauma. Takehito Koyasu plays Hiroshi Suzuki, a seasoned hitman with 20 years of experience and Ushio's accomplice. Yoshihiro Kamimura plays Tsutomu Izaki, a new investigator and former member of the Muroko gang.

The theme songs for the second part will continue to be performed by Umeda Cypher and ALI. Umeda Cypher's new song "Switch" will be the opening theme, while ALI's "BEYOND feat. MaRI" will be the ending theme.

The third promotional video begins with a recap of the anime, accompanied by a lively opening theme, and showcases the survival struggles of Akira and Kuroshio, as well as the conflict between Yoko and Yuuki Kawai. The video then shifts to a cool ending theme and reveals parts of the Ushio arc's plot.

"The Fable" follows the daily life of a genius assassin who, under the name Akira Sato, tries to live like an ordinary person. The series is directed by Ryosuke Takahashi and produced by Tezuka Productions.
