TV anime "Uchūjin Mūmū"-new visual, trailer and cast extension for absurd alien comedy

The quirky anime sitcom "Uchūjin Mūmū" (English: "Alien Mūmū"), based on the manga by Yuki Miyashita, premieres on April 9, 2024, and reveals new details. A second key visual, an updated trailer, and two additional voice actors have been unveiled.

The story revolves around Mūmū, a cat-like alien who moves in with college student Sakurako to study household technology alongside his people—a desperate attempt to reconstruct the lost knowledge of their civilization. Chaos and humorous misunderstandings are inevitable.

The second visual features the ten main characters in front of the iconic Machida Station—the real-life setting of the story. The trailer offers glimpses into the chaotic daily lives of the alien group as they balance microwave studies and earthly quirks.

New Voices in the Cast

- Siberia (Voice: Karin Takahashi): An alien companion of Mūmū who works alongside his partner.

- Anamori Jun’ichirō (Voice: Katsuyuki Konishi): Siberia’s human ally, who gets entangled in the aliens' plans.
