TV commercial for Lotte Chocolate's 60th anniversary

With a unique blend of animation and music, the renowned animation studio TRIGGER has produced a TV commercial for the 60th anniversary of Lotte Chocolate. Filmmaker and novelist Genki Kawamura was involved in the project, while Yo Yoshinari was responsible for the animation and character design. The commercial is rounded off by the song "Chocola Catapla" by the well-known artist Ado.

Lotte, a major confectionery brand, celebrates its 60th anniversary on February 1, 2024, marking the introduction of its "Ghana Milk Chocolate" in 1964. The commercial features a magical story set in a chocolate factory at night. It tells the tale of a girl who enters the factory from the real world and meets two other girls—one from the world of magic and one from the world of science. Together, they help in the production of chocolate. "Chocola Catapla," a magical spell that makes the chocolate even more delicious, is sung as a melody in the commercial.
