Two New Clips from the "TenSura" Film Show Gobta's Date and Rimuru's Journey

For the currently running film "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime – The Movie: Scarlet Bond" (Original title: Gekijō-ban Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna-hen), two new excerpts from the main program have been released. The clips provide insights into a turbulent date and summarize the slime's story.

The clip titled "Rimuru and the Look Back at the 'TenSura' Story So Far" is a compilation sequence shown at the beginning of the film. It traces Rimuru's path from his reincarnation as a slime through the founding of the "Federation of Monster Nations Tempest" up to the present, also offering newcomers an easy entry into the plot.

In the second clip, "Gobta and Yura – A Turbulent Date", the two characters are seen fleeing from pursuers while sampling local specialties together. The excerpt also shows how Elmesia and her companions are enjoying their vacation.

The film, in which Rimuru and his friends meet the shrine maiden Yura from the underwater land Kaien and fight to save it, has been running in Japanese theaters since February 27th. It has already attracted over 500,000 viewers. From March 20th, the film will also be shown in 4DX.

Finally, the news site Comic Natalie offers a behind-the-scenes look in a special report. There, artist Akapen Takigawa visited the animation studio Eight Bit and spoke with the staff about their work and the challenges during production.
