Two-part film adaptation for Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction announced

On the official website of the anime adaptation of Inio Asano's manga Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction, it was announced that the story will be adapted into a two-part film project, with its release planned for spring 2024. To build anticipation, a teaser image was also released.
Tomoyuki Kurokawa will direct the project, while Reiko Yoshida is responsible for writing the screenplay. The team also includes Nobutake Ito as character designer and chief animation director, Mika Nishimura as art director, and Taro Umebayashi, who is in charge of music composition.
The manga revolves around the seemingly ordinary life of high school girl Kadode Koyama, her friend Ouran Nakagawa, and their classmates in a world disrupted by the sudden appearance of a massive mothership over Tokyo.
