"Ultraman Final": New trailer and the end of a series

A special trailer for "Ultraman Final" with English subtitles is now available on Netflix, offering a tantalizing preview of the upcoming 3D CG anime based on the "Ultraman" manga by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi. The trailer showcases the final Ultraman transformation of protagonist Shinjirō Hayata and hints at an epic conclusion to the series.



As the final season of the anime was released worldwide on Netflix on May 11, new faces have joined the cast. M.A.O, Kōji Ishii, and Hideaki Tezuka have been brought on board to bring the characters Balkyua, Mephisto, and Daisuke Arashi to life. This season, Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki collaborate as directors, while Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts handle the production of the 3D CG anime. The musical atmosphere is crafted by returning composers Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi, with NOILION and MIYAVI contributing the opening theme song "RAYS." The ending theme "AVIATION" is performed by Void_Chords, featuring Ryohei & Foggy-D.

The anime's story takes place in the time since the original Ultraman events, with the iconic "Giant of Light" now just a memory. It is believed that he left Earth after defending it against numerous alien invasions. The focus shifts to Shin Hayata's son Shinjiro, who displays unusual abilities. His father's admission of being Ultraman and Shinjiro's own powers set him on a path to confront the new wave of alien invaders and take up the mantle of the new Ultraman.

In the final season, there is a major change in the voice casting for the new Ultraman character Kōtarō Higashi/Ultraman Taro. Originally, Tatsuhisa Suzuki was set to voice the role, but due to Suzuki's hiatus from the industry, Tomoaki Maeno took over the role instead.
