Episode 3 titled "The Immortal and the Oni" continues the story at the manor, where everyone gathers for dinner.

Godard recounts the events of the evening. After dinner, his wife retired to her room. Godard then went to the study to converse with Claude, while Charlotte played with her dolls. Later, Godard went hunting, a routine activity for him. He assures that nothing unusual happened in the storage room during this time. At the same time, Claude left Charlotte alone with Giselle and retreated to his room to read. Raoul was hunting with Godard before being in his room, without hearing anything unusual.

Meanwhile, Giselle was busy cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry, singing songs to a seemingly bored Charlotte. She only left Charlotte alone once when she went to the toilet. Alfred, on the other hand, was in the office in the basement, adjusting Godard's schedule without hearing any noises.

After all the testimonies were gathered, Aya narrows down the suspects to Alfred and Claude. This revelation upsets Lottie, who spills her drink and runs out of the room. After the meal, Claude confronts Aya and Tsugaru, denying any involvement in his mother's murder.

Aya, who observed the hands of the others during the meal, notes that none of them have cuts or burns. Therefore, she suspects that either Alfred or Giselle could be responsible.

Later, Tsugaru, Aya, and Godard venture deeper into the forest. Godard speculates that the murder method points to the work of a vampire hunter. During this discussion, a hunter named Josef, seeking to avenge Hugo's death, fires a crossbow bolt at Godard, who remains unfazed. Godard captures Josef and demands answers, but it soon becomes clear that Josef was in Berlin three days ago, ruling him out as the murderer. Aya decides to release Josef and returns to the villa, determined to solve the mystery once and for all.
