Two original novels by renowned authors Shoji Gatoh and Reiko Yoshida will be published on November 22 under the KA Esuma Bunko label by Kyoto Animation. The illustrations and character designs for these novels are created by artists Noriyuki Maru and Yūki Horiguchi.

Shoji Gatoh, known for his work on "Full Metal Panic!," has written a new novel titled "MOON FIGHTERS!" The story is set in a future where lunar development is in full swing. It centers around a rescue team operating on the moon. Noriyuki Maru, who previously handled the animation for the "Tsurune" series, contributes the character designs for this work, and the studio's team has meticulously highlighted details in color and background to portray a vibrant group of five men.

Reiko Yoshida's novel "The Radiance of the Prairie" follows a 13-year-old boy named Tao, who struggles to adjust to his new family after his mother's remarriage. Although he changes schools to escape his family situation, Tao still feels alienated until he encounters a person with strikingly platinum-blue eyes. Yūki Horiguchi, known for her work on the "K-On!" series, is responsible for the illustrations of this novel.
